A born and raised New York actor. His television credits include Netflix’s “The Night Agent” and NBC’s “Law and Order” with upcoming appearances in “Cupertino” for CBS and “Joseph of Egypt” for Amazon. Theatre credits include Girl Says Woman Says Man Says directed by Caitlin O’Connell and Last Night was a Play by Shae Shennet. A graduate of Rutgers Mason Gross School of the Arts with a BFA in Acting, Matisse also trained at Shakespeare’s Globe in London where he performed in Measure for Measure. Matisse is represented by CornerStone Talent Agency and Seven Summits Management and Pictures.

A British-American actor trained under James Brill of the Neighborhood Playhouse. Most recently he appeared in Oedipus at Studio 54. Other credits include Christopher Boone in The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time and Christopher Wren in The Mousetrap. Thrilled to be making his Off-Broadway debut with The Pass.

A past winner of the Tom Erhardt Award, the PMA Award for Best New Writer, and the NSDF Sunday Times Playwriting Award, as well as a BAFTA nomination for his debut film, The Pass. For theatre, John’s work includes Apex Predator (Hampstead Theatre), Tartuffe (National Theatre), The Pass (Royal Court), a version of The Seagull (Headlong/UK Tour), Little Russians (Tricycle Theatre), The Knowledge (Bush Theatre), Songs of Grace and Redemption (Theatre 503), and Bone (Royal Court Theatre). John adapted The Pass for screen, starring Russell Tovey and Arinze Kene — the film opened the BFI Flare Festival in March 2016. His most recent feature The Assessment (starring Elizabeth Olsen, Himesh Patel, and Alicia Vikander) opened at TIFF in September 2024. His 6-part adaptation of Sarah Moss’ Summerwater aired on Channel 4 in November 2025 and on Acorn in the US in May 2026.

Director
Recently directed and produced an extended run of Mike Bartlett’s Bull, and will direct a new production of the American Psycho stage adaptation to launch The Empyrean Club in Brooklyn. Making his Broadway co-producing debut this season with Paranormal Activity. As Founding Artistic Director of The Bridge Production Group, recent credits include Hunter Bell and Jeff Bowen’s [title of show], hailed by The New York Times as “a rejuvenating balm.” Prior to the COVID shutdown, Max directed the United States premiere of Guillaume Corbeil’s See You, championed by The New Yorker as “fascinating and breathless.” Further directing credits include David Hare’s The Blue Room, the world premiere of Carol Brown’s hedda (Playwrights Horizons’ Robert Moss Theater), Shakespeare’s Richard III (NYTW’s Fourth Street Theater), Adam Rapp’s Red Light Winter, and the world premiere of John Patrick Shanley’s I Am Your Masseuse. Max is a member of the Playwrights/Directors Unit at The Actors Studio and an Associate Member of the SDC.

As an architect, Seth has worked with Studio Gang and the Bjarke Ingels Group on projects including proposals for the Delacorte Theater renovation, the National Black Theater in Harlem, and the new home for the Hudson Valley Shakespeare Festival. His most recent project in collaboration with commoncraft is a new 300-seat theater and nightclub in Brooklyn opening in 2027. Recent designs include Brandcast at Lincoln Center, YouTube at Coachella, Shakespeare in the Park (assistant to Maruti Evans), and Lempicka Korea (associate to Riccardo Hernandez). Originally from the Coast Salish region, Cheyenne is a lighting designer working in dance, theatre, performance art, and opera. Most recently she designed The Pirates of Penzance at Opera Theatre of Saint Louis. She has worked on three installations by performance artist Miles Greenberg at Perrotin New York, Reena Spaulings, and Worthless Studios. Gracie LeClere (Lyndsey u/s) is thrilled to be making her Off-Broadway debut in The Pass. Recent theater credits include Virginia Haggard in Chagall in New York (alongside Austin Pendleton at Theater for the New City) and Clytemnestra in The Oresteia (The Embassy Theatre, London). For recent film/voice work, she was the lead in the film Strike (screened at a BAFTA-qualifying festival) and can be heard singing on various Call of Duty: Black Ops soundtracks. Gracie holds a B.A. in Acting from the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama. Endless thanks to the cast, crew, and creative team for this opportunity; love to her incredible husband Taylor and her dog Piglette.
